Dear Friends,

TEAM 9 / KDK decided to send rescue – team to MENTAWAI island one of remote island hit by big Earthquake (8,9 SK). 14 -15 volunteer will depart 28 September 2007 and return 7 October. Within 8 days visit TEAM 9 will conduct some activities.

1. Free medical for Earthquake victim and will drop medicines to local hospital


2. Children Program
   Nutrition , milk, and instant baby food for under 5 year
   Books & library for local school
   Handicraft and environmental education for kids


3. Woman Program
   How to make bread and cookies for livelihood
   Training to make Coconut oil with Yeast
   Training banana & Cassava chips
   Sewing & Embroidery


4. Man Program
   How to make Charcoal using Drum kiln
   How to make Compost using Charcoal
   


5. Water & Sanitation
   Water & Sanitation built Ferro Cement tank
   Water & Sanitation Quick Sanitation System
   


6. Evaluation team for the next visit
   School destroy by earth quake
   Church & Mosque
   Public Facilities needed to built
